Thanksgiving 2011
So nice being in Walla Walla for Thanksgiving! It's been too long since we'd been with family...like, at least a month, wink. And, we've never had rotisserie turkey before. It was heavenly!
Kent was a great sport letting Dave document the entire process. And Alyssa was a great sport letting us photograph her laundry room.
Kids got tons of play time in, including a much anticipated Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii session.
Waiting for the turkey to spin its way to perfection, we took our two families on a walk through Alyssa & Kent's neighborhood. I love where they live, and the weather was perfect. Oliver tried to take the bike out, but he was soon disappointed and landed himself in the stroller.
Saw the horses on the way home. Not sure what Connor is doing with the plastic gun, but the horse is smart not to make eye contact.
How cute are these cousins?!
Um, Touchet the Dog got thirsty...
I cannot even tell you how good the house smelled when we got home with this bird! Delicious!
Again, Kent being a great sport about pictures...
Connor & Kade, both waiting to dive their hands into those olives.
Luke & Beth, so excited! We get to eat!
Tyler, being Tyler, smile.
The group minus the cameraman. Loved Alyssa's new big table, fit all of us so well. What a great set up! Thanks for having us, Ly!
And there's the cameraman!
Isaac was so happy to get to the food! Cute.
Later that evening, tired bodies got to watch a movie.
Starting a puzzle...love how easily these cousins play together. (See OliverBoy trying to steal a puzzle piece from Ty? Good thing you can't hear screaming on pictures.)
The game Trouble was a HUGE hit. Connor got everyone playing it at some point in the trip. He loved that game!...Maybe I should have checked for it during Black Friday shopping, but alas.
Ty & Isaac just about have that puzzle done!
The three Walla Walla boys loved Oliver - especially sweet Luke. And OliverBoy loved every minute of it. He would waddle into the room, looking for Luker, ready to tackle him so they could wrestle around for a while. Love these boys!
